Privacy Policy

Last updated: August 27, 2026

Your privacy is important to us at Kaltcha ("Kaltcha", "we", "us", or "our"). Kaltcha is a business operated by Nic Scott, who is the data controller for the purposes of this policy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and share information when you use our website and its tools, including the Five Dimensional Teams (5DT) assessment and related services (collectively, the "Service").

1. Information We Collect

We collect information to provide and improve our Service. The information we collect depends on which feature you use:

  • Contact Information: We collect your name and email address if you write to us about a team session, and anything else you choose to tell us in that message.
  • 5DT Assessment Data: We collect your answers to the questionnaire to generate your dimensional profile. We also add one to a running total for each option chosen — a count of how many people picked each answer, across everyone, with nothing recording who picked what or which answers were given together. We use it to find questions that are worded badly.

We do not use third-party analytics services like Google Analytics, and we do not use cookies. Nothing about your visit is stored on your device. There is one exception, and only if you ask for it: if you would rather not be counted at all, visiting kaltcha.com/?nocount saves a single flag in your browser saying so. That flag is never sent anywhere. It only stops your browser sending anything, and you can undo it by visiting kaltcha.com/?nocount=0.

We do count some things, and only as totals. When you open a page, start or finish the assessment, copy a comparison link, or click through to book a call, we add one to a counter for that day. We also record how long a visit lasted so we can work out an average.

Some counters carry a single label. When someone finishes the assessment we add one to a counter for the dimension they led with, and if they then share a link we add one to a counter for that too. This lets us see patterns across everyone — whether one dimension shares more often than another, which of the ten situations people find hardest to choose on — and it is also why we can tell you those patterns without knowing anything about you.

The counters are never joined to each other. There is no ID, no session, and nothing that could connect one increment to another. We cannot tell that the person who finished the assessment is the same person who clicked a link a minute later, and there is no way for us to work it out, because the information that would allow it is never created. The smallest slice of time we hold anything against is a whole day.

These counters hold numbers and nothing else. We do not create a visitor ID, we do not store your IP address, browser, or device, and we do not record which pages any one person looked at or in what order. There is no record of your visit to identify, request, or delete, because none is created — the counting happens on our own servers and nothing is sent to anyone else. Shared comparison links are counted as one bucket with the profile code discarded, so the count never reveals who compared with whom.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect for the following purposes:

  • To show you your 5DT profile. Your answers are matched against our own written model — the profile you see was authored by us in advance, not generated on request.
  • To respond to you if you contact us about a team session.
  • To improve the accuracy of our framework. Any data used for this is anonymised, meaning it is not linked to you.

We do not use artificial intelligence to produce your results. Your answers are never sent to a language model, ours or anyone else’s. The same answers always produce the same profile.

3. Data Sharing and Third-Party Services

We do not sell your personal data. We only share information with the following third-party service providers to operate our Service:

  • Our hosting provider, which runs the website and stores its data within the European Union.
  • Zoho, which runs the booking calendar. If you book a call, the name, email address and anything you write in the booking form go to Zoho rather than to this website. That calendar runs on Zoho’s European infrastructure. Nothing of Zoho’s loads on this site — the booking button is a link, so nothing reaches them unless you choose to follow it.

That is the whole list. We previously sent questionnaire responses to Google’s Gemini models to generate analyses; we no longer do, and no longer use any AI provider. We also no longer operate a mailing list or a pilot application, so no data is passed to an email marketing platform.

4. Data Security

We are committed to protecting your data. Our application is hosted on Firebase App Hosting. To comply with European data residency requirements, all of our application servers and data are located and processed within the European Union.

5. Your Rights and Choices

You have the right to access, correct, or request the deletion of your personal information. We do not operate a mailing list and will not send you marketing email. To exercise any of these rights, please contact us.

6. Contact Us
